COURSE DESCRIPTION

Threats encountered in the real world demand reflexive response during what can often be rapidly evolving and dynamic threat scenarios. This course teaches our students how to react by effectively stacking and combining essential firearms skills for pistol, as well as shotgun platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Shooting on the Move
Techniques for moving safely with a firearm while making strategic defensive and offensive decisions.

Positional Shooting
- Gaining cover
- Firing from different height positions
- The use of different grips

Transitional Shooting
Switching between weapon platforms (pistol & shotgun).

Down & Disabled Shooting
Turning towards a threat using alternate firing positions, while down on the ground, and on your back.

Who is this training for?
Anyone 18 or older with general knowledge of, and experience in, the safe handling, operation, and firing of a handgun (semi-automatic or revolver platform), and shotgun.

When and where?
Event times and location are 9-4 pm at the Myakka Gun & Archery Club located at 1805 Logue Road Myakka City, Florida 34251. IMPORTANT STEPS UPON ARRIVAL. Please stop and sign in at the front office. Let them know you’re with "Armored Alliance Group." At this time, you will also complete the required range waiver.

How much will it cost to attend?
$295 per person.
This includes lunch, eye/ear protection and targets.
You are welcome to use your own eye and ear protection.
